Culinary care and quality ingredients, simple really, they go hand in hand in our book.
At Red Cottage we are also great advocates for seasonality and celebration. During Rye’s annual ‘Scallop Festival’ we can offer the delicate shellfish traditionally served with crispy bacon, a hash brown and black pudding with other tasty accompaniments.
And our wild boar sausages are always a huge hit during ‘Wild Boar Week’.
And we must not forget our fruit and vegetables.
You’ll always see fresh English strawberries, when in season, on the breakfast table and why not try a twist on Eggs Florentine with wonderful English in-season asparagus and a buttery Hollandaise sauce.
We do offer special dishes as an option and we’ll post those on our website and if you have a particular request, let us know, we’re always up for a challenge.
