The Bradley Wing
The Bradley Wing
At Red Cottage we focused all our expertise in creating a room that provides a wonderful, traditional bed and breakfast experience for our guests.
The Bradley Wing is situated on the north side of Red Cottage Rye and offers guests privacy, luxury and space in an apartment style accommodation.
This bedroom with its king size bed and crisp, white cotton sheets, mini fridge and a curved 40″ tv can match any room in a top luxury Rye hotel as would the stunning bathroom.
For your pleasure we have original paintings on the walls including a piece by Louis Turpin depicting his signature Romney Marsh sheep, the likes of which can be seen from the bedroom window.
Built during the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th Century, Red Cottage Rye was one of the first houses to be built on Mill Salts and between 1909 to 1916 it was the home of Arthur Granville Bradley, a prolific and noted travel writer. In keeping with Rye’s literary history and in his honour, we have named a room after him, ‘The Bradley Wing’.
Although Red Cottage Rye is a new venture for us, we believe we know a thing or two about hospitality, the kind of things you don’t learn by watching ‘Three or Four in a bed’ programmes.
We have indeed resisted a few invitations to appear on those programmes, which really must count in our favour!
Prices from £105 if booked direct.
